Two remote Michelin-recognised resorts: one in the Al Hajar mountains, one on the Musandam coast.

Michelin says it takes effort to reach, which is the appeal. LEED-certified, built from local stone and wood; infinity pool, spa and a tagine restaurant. The Rose Lounge serves no alcohol.

Musandam is an Omani exclave on the Strait of Hormuz, separated from the rest of Oman by the UAE (Wikipedia).
